openbsd software

OpenBSD is a wonderful OS, combining security with simplicity. It has a built-in packaging system called ports and packages which provide software in a simple to install format.

From time to time and as needs must, we've created some packages that have been useful for us, and perhaps for you too. Indulge, enjoy, and relax.

The port files are probably still good for the most recent versions of OpenBSD, download them and have a play if you want to build a more recent version of the code for a more recent version of OpenBSD.

glimpse

"Webglimpse site search software includes a web administration interface, remote link spider, and the powerful Glimpse file indexing and query system. Add sophisticated search capability to your site."

htDig

"The ht://Dig system is a complete world wide web indexing and searching system for a domain or intranet. This system is not meant to replace the need for powerful internet-wide search systems like Lycos, Infoseek, Google and AltaVista. Instead it is meant to cover the search needs for a single company, campus, or even a particular sub section of a web site."

scponly

"scponly is an alternative 'shell' (of sorts) for system administrators who would like to provide access to remote users to both read and write local files without providing any remote execution privileges. Functionally, it is best described as a wrapper to the tried and true ssh suite of applications."
